Title: eBay Auctions - JB Goodies

A nice little story attached to some rare signed goodies from Jeff's performance at the Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton in March '95

If that was me, and Jeff gave me his guitar pick and poster, I don't think I would ever put it up for sale - no matter how much I needed the money. The memories attached to those things would be priceless.

That would have been tough  :D

Obviously not given to me in person, but i have a couple of those guitar pics & a gig ticket from that show + an unsigned copy of the original Dutch pressing of the Grace LP

EDIT:
Auctions just finished with 2 private bids but the reserve wasn't met. My guess is with a high start price + reserve is that she really didn't want to part with it!!

Hmmm, I sent an email to that person also requesting some info and pics of the other items.  The email they sent back is dated 20/12.  I got a completely different price list, maybe the "credit crunch" is having an influence... ::)

Hi again, please bare with me, I'm really pressed for time at the momenrt and I haven't got around to photographing these items, Here's a description anyway.
I have a European generic tour poster (the concert dates were written on by hand at the venues) This is an unused one signed very large and bold by JB £750.00 (plus I can send a emailed photo taken of my ex-boyfriend with JB at the time of signing). I also have the rare cd single GRACE with the European tour dates, this is signed by Jeff and the band £600.00. I also have a ticket for a very small gig at The Connaught Hotel, Wolverhampton, signed in biro. The is a extreamely rare show, less than 50 attended, £275.00. A copy of the cd GRACE signed by JB & band £500.00
Cheers
Pilar

Yes £3.50!!!  Just like house prices, ticket prices have shot up in recent years.  I was looking through my old ticket stubs not so long ago ( yes, I'm sad, I keep them.) and noticed i only paid £20.00 for my ticket for the Rolling Stones 12 years ago, which isn't really that long ago.

Hmmm, a totally different price list indeed - i got my reply on the 28th Dec. So in eight days, the poster & Grace CD single have come down in price but the Connaught ticket stub has nearly doubled  ???  WTF!!!

User 'coolgoodies' has yet another signed item - maybe i'm being a touch skeptical now but they/him/her keeps popping up with these - this time a postcard  :o

I've only got one signature to go by but although the signature is as it should be, the 'Thank You, Love' look a little different in style - is it just me??

Title: Re: eBay Auctions - JB Goodies

Hmmm, I don't know.  It certainly looks genuine and the others they've sold looked for real too, but they do have a lot of stuff don't they?  I've had a look at their feedback, they don't seem to be a regular autograph seller of other artists.  But then again when you're selling a Jeff autograph every other week for £750, you don't need too.  ;D

The guy is a bit off the hook with this memorobbery shit for 5000 pounds... but have to say for an item like this it's a great one (imo signed at the best place) in terms of other Jeff posters.

Coolgoodies comes up with yet another signed JB item - so many signed items from this user makes me think that this person either is/was very close on a personal level or that these signatures are very good fakes!!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-JEFF-BUCKLEY-Signed-AUTOGRAPHED-1994-photo-Framed_W0QQitemZ130218039647QQihZ003QQcategoryZ61QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Check previous posts in this thread to see references to previous auctions & those are only the ones that have been listed since FlowersInTime has been going - more before!

It would be great if you could check their feedback to see all the items they've sold but you can't - private auctions!! .....hmmmmm  ;)

lets play spot the fake:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250240098802&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=015

(notice that jeff also seems to have forgotten how to spell his last name in one of them :) - but they all look about sus...)

Title: Re: eBay Auctions - JB Goodies

I know they look real & i don't want to believe there is anything fishy going on................. :-\

As mentioned in a previous post, they still buy memorabilia though like this >

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320215756537&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBUAA:US:1123

now if this was to turn up signed  :o
