apologies to everyone for the downtime - my hosting provider managed to do serious damage to my mysql server and databases (which span 3-4 sites)... there was unavoidable downtime from early Monday morning till Thursday morning... thankfully they have fixed the problems now.

I have restored the forum db from a backup from 1 June, so hopefully there wont be any missing posts (yay for daily backups!). In future there will be even less downtime if such catastrophic failure reoccurs...
